Nontas was found on the streets with a broken leg from being hit by a car. The driver did not stop to help. A friend of the shelter found Nontas and informed them, because Nontas was in pain he was trying to bite from fear so his mouth needed to be restrained, unfortunately there was no muzzle available apart from rope.
He has now recovered from his ordeal and is in the shelter slowly being integrated into the pack.
